Internship Program

MIMRA is now accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Internship Program—an exclusive chance to kickstart your career in marine science, fisheries management, aquaculture, legal affairs, or oceanic and industrial fisheries while you study. Only 3 interns will be selected this round. Launch your future with the MIMRA Internship Program! If you are a high school graduate or a student enrolled in college, vocational, or trade school, you can gain hands on experience in research, conservation, aquaculture, legal affairs, and tuna fisheries management under expert mentors at the Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority (MIMRA). Choose from exciting placements such as:

  • Reimaanlok community based resource management and conservation.
  • Aquaculture hatchery operations and community livelihood projects.
  • Legal, compliance, and fisheries policy work.
  • Oceanic tuna fisheries data, monitoring, and inspections.

Many former interns are now MIMRA leaders—your career can start here.

The Summer Session runs June–August (10 weeks).
