We are pleased to announce the deployment of Anchored Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) in Majuro Atoll, Laura area. This initiative aims to enhance local fisheries by providing critical aggregation points for fish and to support livelihood activities, thereby supporting sustainable fishing practices and contributing to the health of our marine ecosystems.

- The FAD is anchored at a depth of approximately 1,541 meters.
Important Information:
- Safety Precautions: We request all vessels to avoid the deployment areas to ensure the safety of both the equipment
and marine life. Markers were placed at the coordinates to indicate the locations of the FADs.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Regular monitoring and maintenance will be conducted to ensure the effectiveness and
safety of the FADs by local fishers and Fisheries officers.
